Nice
Hi all i wanted to share my Albino project, i will start with a purchase of two Curipera cross 3 inch from a member here at Simply (Mishka), took them home and put them in my tank, since than i have gone through a lot of problems as most beginners, these two not only manage to survive but they paired up, when they had fry some where white is asked the forum and did not get much info, later i was told that the father of these discus was in fact an albino intermediate leopard snake, so yes i got albino fry.
Few months later only one has survived.

Now i took the male and paired it with a Albino Red Cover, i was successful, they had about 50% albinos they are about 1 month old not sure what they will look like
here is the pair

Al, really cool looking discus and very interesting fry! Congrats. Rufus
Thank you Rufus, how are your albinos doing ?
Don't know why I picture you walking down the beach with that bird of yours
Hi Al, You made me laugh. I used to do that with my birds but I have given the birds to good homes with friends and no longer have them. Long story but it all worked out. My albinos are of course still in their original quarantine tank. I just did a water change on them as a matter of fact. They seem to be bonded and the female seems raring to go but the males seems to not quite get it yet. They are doing the old shimmy thing especially the female. I do have three other Albino Plats and I have a feeling all of them are male. So, if this male should not work out I might have some stand ins? We shall see. Rufus
Update they are about 2 months now not much change except for size, one is much larger and more reddish than the rest.
