    Default Corner HMF filter

Hello! Does anyone use a corner HMF filter? Is the filtration good enough?

I have two HMF in my sump for an 125G tank, one in 55G tank, and three tower block filters that I'm currently using. All came from Swiss Tropicals and so far have no problems with filtration in all my three tanks.

I went over to SwissTropicals on the recommendation of farebox and do not regret it. Stephan was a pleasure to work with. Go to their website and check out their premade corner HMF's.

    Yes its enough.

I ran one for 2 years with a small power head on a 65 gallon. The only drawback from what I had built was not using thick enough glass. The pieces in the Swiss Tropical kit look like a no worry situation in my mind. I always kept a sponge filter in there just in case I want to start a new tank or need to restart my quarantine tank.
