I have been target feeding these little guys today small amounts of live BBS. The fry seem to have nice, round bellies but not sure if that is yolk or BBS.

Thanks Jacklyn but really the fish get all the credit. Mark was holding them for me while I was on my Maryland trip and Mark said they were ready to spawn. He was right!

You got it Rich and funny that they had already spawned when we were talking about the male being immature.

Yup, he is just hanging out. The female does not want him to close but he will get between me and the female/fry when I stick a lens up to the glass so tells me he is in defending mode. I am keeping a eye of them.

It's so great to see pics and video's of these little bugger Pat! When you told me there were a few, I pictured 5 or 6 wee fry, not a whole group!

Good job woman - wish I had your wet thumb. =)

Thanks Toni, I think there about 20 or so fry. They seem to be eating as they swarm up a bit when I add a cloud of bbs over them. I will be glad when they are a wee bigger so the camcorder can actually pick up details.

Thanks Rufus, they were probably more than I think and according to Ryan, they grow pretty darn fast.
