I believe there is a way by way of the settings tab. I am on the phone currently but I can check as soon as I get on a desktop for you.
unless i'm missing something, the board requires me to manually subscribe to the thread in order to see responses coming in. is there a way that i can automatically subscribe to any thread i write on?
thanks

Hey Jack, I believe the default is to subscribe for each post/thread. You'd have to un-check it if you didn't to subscribe. But I'm fairly sure the default is to subscribe you. Could be if it is unchecked that might become your default, I'd have to look and see. And then under the check box it gives you the options of how subscribed you want to be...emails, just through the control panel, etc. For you or anyone else, outside of a thread, to manage your subscriptions go to Settings at the top right of the page and click General Settings on the left hand menu there should be an option about 3 down under Messaging & Notification where you can choose to receive emails and such, do it through control panel, etc.
Posting in this thread the check box was already checked to subscribe me.

John, are you trying to see all the threads you have created? If yes, find your username along the top of the page (to the right of the Welcome) and click on it. Then click on "Find latest started threads" on the left under your username.

Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
By default the forum does not subscribe you to threads. As Matt points out, click Settings in the upper right corner of the page, then General Settings on the left menu, then scroll down to Default Thread Subscription Mode. "Through my control panel only" will make the threads show up in your User Control Panel when there's a new reply.
Make sure you hit "Save" at the bottom of the page once you make the change.
i found it under setttings, thanks all.

Messaging & Notification
Default Thread Subscription Mode:
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
