Cory's have always done pretty well in the discus temp range for me
Anybody kept these with discus? Most of the sources I have looked at show an upper temp range of 79 to 82. I'm curious to know the life span of these fish on the higher end of the range. I plan on keeping the tank around 81-83. Tank is still a work in progress and won't have discus in it for a couple months. I know the fish are compatible from a personality perspective. Curious about the temp range.

It's just a box with water... and a few extremely expensive mutts...
Corydoras species that can handle discus temperatures (84F Max ) include sterbai, acuatus, panda, adolphi, julii, loxozonus, davidsandii and aeneus.
Quote from Colin Powell
"There are no secrets to success; don’t waste time looking for them. Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty to those for whom you work, and persistence. You must be ready for opportunity when it comes"
These particular strains cannot handle 80+F.

So are Adolfi Corys OK at these temps ? I love these but wouldn't want to add them just to doom them. Anyone keep these at present ?
C. sterbai, adolfi, julii and arcuatus all do well at discus temperatures. C. trilineatus, which look like julii, cannot handle the heat. C. panda can be acclimated slowly.
