I know a couple things need to change in this tank. This is the group of five A. Elizabethae; two males and three females. The fourth female is from the original pair. Also in this tank is three of my F1 A. Agassizii The fish are in a 50 gallon tank. Need to remove the three F1s and the lowest ranking male and female A. Elizabethae. I do believe the female in the center cave is coming into spawn mode however.

For a second at the beginning of the video I thought I saw a ram in there! They look very nice but that male is a right ol' bully!

You get some really great captures Pat! Honestly I think I would struggle with getting a shot of these guys, the look like they move so quick!

Thanks Ricardo, it is all in the timing and yes, they can move quick. This spots were my first time using the back button focusing.

So yesterday I did not see the female go into the cave where the eggs were and thought perhaps she had eaten them. As the day progressed I noticed she was instead hanging in the front of another cave pretty consistently. Pretty sure the eggs hatched and she moved the fry to the other cave. There was a little pile of sand outside of the cave. I understand they like to leave the fry in little pits in the sand.
