pictures uploading upside down

Yesterday I used the "insert image" icon to post pics of my new discus. When I went to review the post before submitting, the pictures were upside down. Then I rotated them and re-uploaded...same problem! Any suggestions?

Are you taking these pictures with your phone? If so, I have heard that the orientation in which you take your pictures initially matter as to the end product orientation. Of course the picture can be edited to be displayed right side up in an editor. If you need help with this, we (mods) can help you out.

Yes, i took them with my iphone in the horizontal position. I rotated them in the Mac Photos App but still uploaded upside down.

Yes, I believe they had to be taken in a certain orientation for them to be uploaded directly. A few other members have had this problem. I know it is somewhat of a hassle, but I always recommend signing up to a free webhost, one like Flickr and then simply uploading the photo there, and then pasting the bb code here. It makes it easier and it is an effective way to get rid of the orientation problem.
