Wow!! So nice! Love the markings and love Chicago discus!!
Can't wait to see them grow! As I recall they are on the smaller side right? 4" or so??
Miranda was my contact person at Chicago Discus. I saw these vertical striped tigers on the September stock list (with accompanying video) and took the plunge. I'm so glad I did! They are awesome! The fish were packed so well and active right out of the box. Now 1 week later they are eating everything and the colors are so vivid! Those Vertical Stripe Tigers are amazing. I keep telling folks about them, but it takes a very satisfied customer, like you Ted, to show them in their full glory! Great pictures! There are still plenty left, so just let me know if you want to add to your school of Tigers.... Miranda
Nice Job Miranda! Those are some really cool patterns!
Congrats on the New Fish Ted!

I always like it when members post follow up pictures of discus that they have grown out. Here are my 6 vertical striped tigers that I got from Chicago Discus shortly after Labor Day. They were 3 to 3 1/2" when I got them. Maybe Miranda can chime in to let us know how old they are. I'm happy with their growth so far. The smallest is 4" and the largest is almost 5". I have changed 50% of the water every day except 2! I would change more to really get these guys big but with my python and 2 pumps ( one to drain and one to pump R/O water from a rubbermaid garbage can) it takes 30 min. I really envy hobbyists who have fish rooms with drilled tanks for draining and refill piping over their tanks! Maybe some day! They are growing out very nicely Ted! And they look amazing in a school of 6. They were about 4 or 5 months old when you bought them back in September. With your daily water changes they should continue to grow nicely. Can't wait to see the next set of pics... Miranda
They look great, and looks like you got what you ordered ,sounds like a reputable company and you got just what you wanted, great job
Fabulous looking fish Ted - just breath-taking.
