Water change amounts

I currently have a 44 gallon trash can I use for my wc. I age water overnight, my question is would like to add another 10 gallons to bring it to 54 gallons, would it be OK to add 10 gallons to trash can while I'm refilling tank after wc. The water would be straight from tap ph doesn't fluctuate and would adjust temperature. Would use 2 5 gallon buckets to add water. Thanks walt

Would probably be fine. I have done lots of changes where the replacement water was 10 degrees cooled the the original tank water.
