Default 2 discus pairs in one tank

Hi all I have 2 pairs of discus in a 40 gallon tank that just laid eggs. I was wondering if I should move one pair to another tank and see if the other pair would take care of them. The eggs are on opposite sides of the tanks and we're laid about a day a part from each other. Any advice would be appreciated

Well you will need to separate the pairs but I would not worry too much about your eggs. If you do have pairs they will spawn back in about 7 days if they are healthy. You did not say if they were proven pairs so all we know for sure right now is that you have at least one female and probably two. Also is your water soft? If not the eggs will not hatch even if they are fertile.
