This topic gets brought up pretty often. The take away from those conversations is always the same, it is better to do manual WC's than a drip system one.
Dose anyone have any experience with drip systems and discus. Dose this prevent the need to do water change assuming the system is dripping 20% a day or make it so you can get away with doing large changes less often?

I would use it only as an addition to my regular maintenance and Manual Wc routines,not as a substitute to them.
I use a drip system, though its more like a flow through... only in addition however to vacuuming detritus and then replacing that water as a regular water change. I use this on my breeders, but it works the best on fry tanks where overfeeding can be an issue.
