The general rule of thumb is you do ot want to cross any PB based fish with any non-PB based fish. i.e. it is not a great cross. I would suggest against it. Discus do not pair or mate for life. You can mix and match them at will.

Anyone ever seen this cross? My Raffleasia and Eruption leopard are only 4" but will not leave eachothers side! strangest thing. But has anyone seen this cross done? it could either go very well or very bad I feel
It's just a box with water... and a few extremely expensive mutts...

This is probably a very stupid question... but all I know about discus is the general stuff and not all of the types of them yet... can you tel me how to tell if a discus is pigeon blood or not? Also, why would you not mix them? bad genes? health problems? or just not appealing to the eye

To make it simple most (not all) of the reds, orange, yellows, whites are PB's. Most of the fish that look more wild type with either 9 or 14 stress bars are non-PB's
