    Default Beefheart for fry

    Hi,

Since the fry are roughly 6 weeks now... can i start trying out beefheart for them? or...

    1) Is there a specific time after beefheart needs to be introduced?
    2) When is it best to remove the parents from the fry
    3) I have seen a couple of fry lying on the bottom of the tank(sort of resting).... is it common? when i go near them, they start swimming around as usual... Is it best to cull these?

!. Since I feed beef heart to my pairs the fry are normally eating it by 3 weeks or so.
2.I almost never remove the parents but remove the fry. If you have been feeding them correctly you can pul the fry as young as 10 days but I normally wait to about day 21 of free swimming.
3.Those are belly sliders. Cull them.
