Can I keep 12 Elec. Blue Rams in a 90 gallon bb tank with 7 adult discus?

I got a great deal on 12 electric blue rams and would like to put them in my 90 gallon bb discus tank with 7 adult discus. Is this possible or is that too many rams? I do have drift wood in the tank so there would be places to hide.

Yup. I had 12 at some points in my 90G with 9-10 discus. Rams do prefer a little bit of substrate or sands for their tanks

I keep rams in my 75 gal barebottom with adult discus all the time. They do well and spawn prolifically.

Russ, becareful to quarantine those Rams a good 6 weeks.

I love the electric blue rams. I had 6 in my 90 gallon at one time. None of them lived. I do not know why, but I could not keep one alive, for more than 3-4 months, to save my life. I have never had problems with my discus, but the electric blues, for some reason, can not make it in my tank. And they are pricey, for such a small fish.
