After reading about these fish, it seems sometimes they get bullied by the other malawi cichlid inhabitants in the tanks because they are "mellow" fish. I find them really nice looking and have always wanted a sand sifter.

So since these are sand-sifters like the red head tapajoes which I know can be kept with discus, I was wondering if anyone has had these before and know their temperaments or have actually kept them with discus?

They are still a Malawi cichlid, I kept them before. I would not keep them with discus at all.
