Thanks. The light fixture is from Germany. It's called aqua photon plus it's 6.5' long it has 12x 39 watt t5 and 4x 250 watt metal halides. I don't use the halides at all. For filtration I have 100 gallon sump. For media I have poret foam, hydroton clay balls, eheim mech, substrate pro, fix and I also have poret cube sponge media. I h change water once every 2 days and I change about 200 gallons.

yup it is a big tank lol. It doesn't seem that much and it only take me about 35 minutes to drain and fill up. I'm using turface .I really like it a lot better than sand and it's easier to clean and better for acrylic tanks.

yup.. I have a magnet algae scrapper and sand would stuck on the sponge pad and scratch the acrylic on the inside. plus truface is a lot heavier than sand and it doesn't get blown every where when I'm doing stuff in the tank.

there are eggs on your magnetic cleaner, is that the discus version of a mobile nursery : )

the sand scratches up glass like that too.

substrate... i have API plant media(haven't used it yet), which i thought was the same as turface, but the API is not very heavy.
