    Default Newly set up 180g

I just transferred these guys from a black background 110g to this 180g with a blue background. The fish all brightened up within an hour of being in the new tank. I'm assuming the background played a role. What a huge difference in their coloring.

Background makes a big difference, is the substrate the same as well?

Yes, kept the substrate. Just much less as I spread the 4' footprint 6' tank.

So, snow storm hit us last night and been without electric for 10 hrs so far. Expected to be much more as well. Blanketed the the tank, battery air pumps, and adding some warm water every so often. Wish me and my Discus luck.http://

Oh god... I was expecting some of this but not so soon and was hoping we would all be safe!! This is a horrible sight! Wishing you the best of luck!

I see one runted stunted guy in there, is he like a starter discus you couldn't bare to cull?

That is really hectic... hate when that happens because you usually have no idea how long it will last.

    Good luck.
