    I just realized you were wide open!

    Here's the thing, with subjects such as this where it is super far away, you can open up your aperture, even wide open and it doesn't make that much of a difference. The subject is so far that even though you lock in focus on something super far away, everything behind it is still going to be relatively sharp because of the increase in DOF due to distance. Make sense? This is why a lot of astrophotographers will use their wide lens wide open and why lenses such as the 24 1.4 is popular amongst them.

    Again, really beautiful shot. The colors are superb.

    Was this HH? Asking because of the SS. On a tripod no reason to up the ISO, and a long SS might add some nice softening to the water.
    Play with some crops to try and get the horizon line a bit less in the middle.

    Great shot and beautiful colors.
