Shrimp for discus

Hey,

I noticed today, while trying to trap some assassin snails that my Discus are going crazy over the Snail bait, namely boiled shrimp.
Is that a good for discus, maybe as a beef heart replacement?

People put raw shrimp in their beef heart mix or sea food mix as a binder and for the nutritional value.

Ive had other experiences with this. I use raw shrimp in my beef heart mix and I usually don't peel them and if I do its never very carefully. After over a year I havnt had a single problem. I do use a meat grinder so probably its just crushed small enough to not be a problem.

I can't remember who it was that said they do not peel their shrimp but I know it was a vet to the forum, maybe John?
