WBSabby Nhamunda red imported by Discus Origins
This is the January import from WBSabby 2016 by discus origins (Mark Chen). Who just happens to be this months "Member Spotlight." For those that haven't ordered from Mark he is a pleasure to deal with. Amazing fish, great reputation, and great attitude. Looking forward to future orders.
Now onto to the fish.... These guys are only 3 weeks acclimated and looking great! Lots of attitude and not shy at all. They usually bite me during their daily cleanings. Fed on a diet of Al's FDBW original/bio pigment plus, frozen blood worms, and frozen brine shrimp. They are in a pH about 7, once I start lowering the pH they will really start to shine!

Paul your Discus are spectacular. Is your substrate just pool filter sand or?

Just plain ol' pool filter sand. Got it from Home Depot, quickcrete was the brand. Used about 350lbs in the last year... Couldn't make up my mind on 3 separate aquariums. Thank god it's cheap
