I you are feeding Al's FDBW's with colored enhancement you that may be doing it also.
I see, will it reverse if stopped?
from what I see, to keep the yellow color, you need to keep them in a separate tank.
Yes it will reverse. And why keep in separate tank?Just don't feed color enhanced foods.

Thanks Bill,
Since we are on the topic of food, most that I like to feed have color enhancers, Bills flake does, so does Hikari Discus Bio-Gold, don't know if New Life Spectrum or Zoo med Earthworm does?
I feed sera granules, and al's blackworms, the regular ones, ans freeze dries blood worms. No enhancers there, and a variety of flake from ken's,ill have to check those.

Thanks Bill, which blood worms do you use, I use to use Hikari and for some reason I started having an allergic reaction to them.
Many people have a reaction to them.I use the freeze dried from JehmCo.You probably shouldn't because the dust could get into your lungs.

I see, thanks
the allergic reaction can get worse over time too. i cant even be in the same room as blood worms anymore. i have switched to freeze dried black worms now, which the fish like way more and which dont cause reactions.
Yes, I am trying to stay away
