Great work...as always.

Meet up with some of the local camera club members for a shootout in Lakeland. We started at Mirror Lake and ended up at Florida Southern College to photograph the Frank L. Wright architecture. The architecture photos were definitely a stretch for me.
Lake Mirror
This female mallard only had one duckling with her. I found the rest of the ducklings in a storm drain.

Called the local fire department and they came and released the ducklings from the storm drain. The little ones were happy to get back to mom.

These two were in the midst of courtship.

It does....LOL.

These following shots are examples of the Frank L. Wright architecture so these are a stretch for me plus we are shooting late morning.
A member let me try her fisheye lens. Fun little lens. This shot is a bit noisy. This is in one of the chapels.

The sky was really gorgeous.

Just a joke Pat at "shootout" rather than "shoot out".

really enjoy your photos and great skill you have Pat.
Great pictures! I love the ducks so cute.
Pat, here's a recommendation, use numbers so we can reference to some of them
This is an example of a very minimalist shot, but a very well captured and framed shot. I love taking these type of shots where most people would simply just walk by and never even think of taking a pic of it. Really like that one:

OMG, the birds...I would 'bout sell my soul to be able to take pics like the ones of the birds.
Mama duck seemed content having just one baby. I bet she was happy to see the rest of them back with her. How many were in the storm drain? Did they all survive?

Love Frank Loyd Architecture. We have a few houses in the area, never knew he did churches.
Any picture of the fire department rescue Pat?
