Is it better to wait for the fish to poop before feeding again?

The more you eat the more you POOP!!!!!That's common sense.

Yeah I tried and gave up on "timing" things (water changes in my case) around when fish poop. My discus poop throughout the day. Sometimes they poop right after I do a water change, and I stand there ask them "you couldn't do that 5 minutes earlier so I could vacuum it?"

As for feeding, I feed them when it's convenient for me. Normally twice a day, but every now and then they get an extra feeding if they seem to want more food (going to the top of the tank when they see me next to the tank)
