New Discus Planted Tank
I am new to this forum but have been keeping fish for over 20 years now. I work full time in a LFS and after opening a freshwater section in our store, I decided to get back into discus.
The tank is 42X22X36, The dimensions are so weird because it is an extra stand we had from a canceled order. The tank has an external overflow that drops into a sump with K-1 media and Japanese filter mat.
The return pump is a Jebao dc-4000 and there will also be a maxspect gyre XF-130 for extra circulation. I plan on having six adult discus or so.

In a 140 gallon planted tank six adult discus will be lost, given the tank dimensions.
