I use an avi-on for one of my lights. It works through Bluetooth. Also can try wemo which is wifi
I'm finally setting up a system to use a submersible pump to send water to my tanks from my brute aging cans. The route to the tanks is currently over 60 feet away, which I hope to shorten with some rearranging soon. So, ideally, I'm in two places at once; I plug in the pump and I hold the end of the fill hose. I've read of remote power switches but have no experience. Thanks for suggestions.

I was going to order something online and then found this one at Ace Hardware. It goes 100 feet or more. I have separate pumps plumbed to different barrels so having two switches comes in handy. I've had it for a year and so far it works well.

I've used a woods also with good results. Seems like I do all my shopping on Amazon though.

But these seems ok and inexpensive. I may give it a try if I need in future.
