Platinum breeding with heckel cross ??

Hey guys
Had two of my fish in a tank together as they are both new and I like to quareentine before putting new fish in with my other fish and they have spawned together.. The female is massive and the egg batch is crazy big!!

I was so surprised because they have seemed to be bickering for weeks!

Just wondering if I should scrape the eggs?
I have no idea what the babies would be like so any advice would be appreciated!!

Male-metallic platinum (pure white)
Female is a heckel cross with a turq type (tony tan)

This can be an interesting cross....is metallic platinum PB or blue based? I am not sure.....Can you post some pics...

Are you sure they are male and female? With a lot of bickering and what you consider to be a massive amount of eggs my first thought would be that it is two females. It certainly isn't unusual for two females to spawn together.

I guess it's possible they could be both female buy it unlikely in my opinion
I bought the heckel from another hobbiest breeder and she has had a massive lot of babies before.
I did have another turq in with them until yesterday but I took him out due to the heckel constantly attacking him.
This is when the bickering was all happening so possibly it might have been because there was another with them stressing them out?

I'd take a chance on breeding the pair ,if it is a pair.The albino is only an albino.It could have turq genes.Only their breeder would know for sure.

I guess tho if it's a platinum it would be more related to the blue diamond.

Looks like a nice fish... I have no idea about crossing and breeding though.
Mr warblad is very experienced and successful maybe he could explain why. If you have the desire and ability to grow some out and they hatch then maybe you keep a group and see what happens could be cool if culls then well cull...

Interesting pairing!!

The platinum carries 2 mutations, both of which are recessive. So the resulting fry will be turks, every one of them.
