    Default Dead links

    Hello,

New to the forum (and will make an introductory post, once I figure if/how discus are for me)....

... but many of the links on this subpage are dead (in particular the other fora and the recommended breeders sections - one or two of them seem to lead to ransomware sites now!! ):

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for pointing this out to us. Perhaps it's time we blow off some dust.

You will have much better luck navigating here to the forum and looking at our sponsor section for our recommended breeders/importers. http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumd...iscus-Sponsors

Alternatively you may want to check out the Beginners section found here http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumd...-for-Beginners or the General section here http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumd...cus-Discussion for more information and updated information located on the forum and stickied at the top. We have plenty of other sections to fill other niches as well, Planted tanks, Wild fish, Water Chemistry and a Disease/Sickness board.

I am pretty new at keeping healthy discus. I did very well keeping unhealthy ones then found SD.
The only benefit for me in learning the hard way was I probably would've thought those water changes would be too much work and not gotten into discus had I'd known in advance. With my python, i make quick work of it on my 75 gal and actually enjoy it. If anyone would have told me that I'd like doing wc's, I'd have thought THEY were crazy. As it turns out, I am the crazy one. I am so over the moon with these fish!
