I'd give them more space now. Either a 75 which they will outgrow or a 100 that will take them longer to outgrow. WC is wonderful but the growing kids need more elbow room. (JMHO. A lot of folks are for packing them in tight)
Seems like a question I've asked before, but I'd like to hear it again. I've got a group of about 100 1", 3 week old fry in a 55. Changing lots of water. They're looking good and eating FDBW, so not dependent on the BBS. How long can I keep them in the 55? Or, do they need more space?

So you think they may be cramped already, eh? I've got a group of 25 in a 75 and they seem comfortable, so I see what you mean. I'll work on it.

What is your object? You either want to raise the best of the best up to a good size or sell to make money. Either way, if you don't have a ton of empty tank space it wouldn't be a bad idea to sell some now if there is a market for 1" Discus in your area.
It takes a good deal of tank space to grow out 100 fry to 2 to 3 inches.
