Prime and Safe will also give false positives on test kits.
problem with that is I do not know if it's "slime conditioners" will foul Purigen or other beaded media that states that certain slime products will permanently foul media.
I did see it and also read about it screwing with test kits and have not researched any further at this point.
Prime and Safe will also give false positives on test kits.
plus I do not need all this
"alkalinity booster and pH stabilizer Adds physiologically active electrolytes to reduce stress in fish, plants and invertebrates. Boosts the establishment and performance of biological filters. Replaces lost or damaged skin slime on fish. Also being successfully used as a shipping agent due to the effective ammonia removing properties and extra skin slime polymers."
looks like the ClorAm-X would be more of a match to Safe/Prime maybe.
I also see where it is just the Nesslers test maybe as ClorAm-X states to use salicylate based test kits which is I believe what I use. Wonder if it smells as bad a SAFE boy that can be pungent
Here's a kilo for $35....treats about 200,000 gallons....compare to 'Newpond'
