Bolivian Rams

Would like to hear experience with bolivian rams and discus. Thinking of adding some to my tank.

I have 4, 2 male, 2 female. no issues at all. 8 adult discus in my tank. I have had them for 2 years. the rams have chased the discus away when they lay eggs, but no further aggression. the rams are bottom fish. they usually hang out with my cories.

Great fish. Very colorful and active.

Great fish, very easy to care for. Very peaceful little guys. I love Germans and Electric Blues, but Bolivians are so much hardier and easier to keep. They just aren't as colorful. Do well in discus temps.

I was going to post I bred these a few years ago, but apparently it was 10 years ago..YIKES! Time Flies!

Anyhow they make good tank mates, I kept them with both wild discus and Domestics. Everytime I see them I get the ich to breed them again. They were a fun fish!

found five bolivians today at lfs. Paid way too much for them! They are cooking in the QT tank.
