Laying eggs everywhere!
A pair of Stendker Checkerboards played eggs on the filter tube and a pair of Kenny's Leopards are laying eggs on a very low pot.....
I guess the giant cone is not suitable for them!

Steve, I bet if you put the cone in one corner, one of the pairs will use it. They are looking for privacy/distance from each other, as Joe said. Good luck with them!

My two pair lay everywhere but on the two cones in each of their tanks and they are the only fish in the tanks. That went on for two years,this summer one pair finally used the cone. So far they have used it 3x but still lay everywhere else also. I finally took the cones out of the other tank. They like the glass and I didn't really plan on putting any effort to raise any just not a market here for them.
