Thanks. that is a great deal. If I could buy a dozen of them I would. I'll feel guilty enough buying two.

I use one of these on my reef, excellent controller! This makes me want to get more
I looked more carefully. I've changed my mind. I thought that you could plug two heaters into it. That's not the case.

Liz, dont give up just yet! You can plug in any household extension cord with 3 outlets on it,or use an inexpensive 3 way tap like this https://www.amazon.com/Outlet-Wall-A.../dp/B0081A4GEC available at any bigbox for $2-3 as long as you stay under 1000 watts total,it does not matter if you use 1 1000 watt heater, 2 500 watt heaters, or 10 100 watt heaters with this controller.
the ability to heat and cool is a much more valuable function IMO, worth the low price!
They have the same brand with two heater outlets, would you recommend that? Not planning on needing to use the cool function.
do you find the separate controller and heater is more reliable than an integrated heater? i've only ever used integrated ones.
Heaters fail. Generally they fail full on. Controllers keep you from cooking your fish when that happens. I still haven't bought any, but they are well worth the investment.
