DIY water shut off for aging barrel

might want to use a different clamp, i've had those break on me. cheap plastic

I've been looking for a better clamp. no luck yet. I may go with a straight "C" clamp

i have the same setup as DJW, just that i have the hole at the top of the barrel...

Jack are you saying that if the float was put closer to the top of the barrel then it would hold more water? LOL. I must have been in a hurry when I installed it.

yeah, i have mine closer to the top so i could get more water in the barrel
