Hello SD members and fellow fish lovers. Your friendly neighborhood moderator team would like to bring back the monthly photo contest. I jumped at the opportunity to take this task on. Normally we will have monthly contests that are discus themed but we thought it would be fun to kick it off with a holiday themed photo contest which seems appropriate for this time of year. Post your best holiday themed photo, whether it be lights, your tree, your mantle, snow, anything that relates to the spirit of this time of the year. Once all the entries have been entered, we will add a poll to the thread and a winner will be chosen. The winner of this month's theme will receive a sampler pack of Al's various foods valued at $50.00 shipping included!!!! Rules below
1. Please only submit one photo. Should you submit more entries, we will automatically use your first posted picture.
2. You must be the person that took the picture and have permission to use it.
3. Your submission gives us permission to use the photo for this contest, host it on an offsite location and post it in a poll on SimplyDiscus.
4. No extreme photoshopping can be done, these must be mainly unedited photos
5. No commenting please, comments can be deleted by moderators.
6. Since winners are determined by poll, all registered members of SimplyDiscus including Admins, Moderators, Sponsors, and Subscription holders are eligible to participate.
7. The contest will start around the first of the month and last 2.5-3 weeks, the last week of the month will be reserved for the polling period.
We have tried to anticipate all issues and make the rules clear and concise, but should an issue or problem arise we maintain all rights to resolve it as we see fit. You agree to this by your submission.
Happy Holidays and Happy posting!!!

I collect snowmen who look like they are carved of wood, here are a few, on an old family bookcase with a 200 yr old family mirror over it.
