They look great Liz! Not cowering at all. Enjoy them and keep us posted on their progress. How big are they right now? It is fun to keep taking pictures because seeing them everyday you do not necessarily notice it. I have had most of mine 3 1/2 months and they have grown a lot. Really fun to watch the colors develop.

Very nice! How many in total and what strains?

What is the dude to the top right? He looks almost wild, great markings and nice shape!

Thank you, we have 8 in total, approx 5-6inches in size. We have 2 Blue Cobalt, 2 Blue Turquoise, 2 Super Red and 2 Leopard, i think the guy you refer to is one of my Leopard's, far far nicer than my photo's show, he's a stunnner if i do say so myself

They look like they are settling in nicely! Pooping and head butting-the discus way!

Haha no head butting, just grazing on some food, settling well tho, they had been in 4 hours when photos were taken

A couple more of the newbies, tank looks a tad cloudy in one pic but in reality it's not

    Hi Filip,

No this is a new bigger tank. Sadly our LFS Discus seemed to have brought something in with them and we ended up losing them.. tried a lot but as some said on here the damage was probably already done. I have 2 other LFS Discus that are in my community tank and so far doing ok.

Ones above are from a well known and highly regarded UK breeder and being kept completely separate in the new tank.

Starting fresh and new with a good stock from the same source is the way to go Liz .
I feel you'll have a pleasent experience with this discus batch , just try not to mix the water and equipment among the 2 tanks.

I had a similar experience with LFS Discus. I ended up re homing my "survivors" & starting with a fresh quality batch. You have some beauties there! I'm thrilled with my new healthy bunch I've had for 3 mos and I'm sure you will be too. Best of luck and keep us posted. Nice choice of fish!
