Sump Design
After weeks of research I have designed a sump that should work for me. I have one question that I'm sure is moronic, but ego isn't one of my charachter flaws. The third compartment of the sump has an egg crate 2" from the bottom, supporting Biohome Ultra Media. The water enters from under the egg crate, rises through the media and flows over a baffle into a bubble trap. Does it make any difference if the water rises up through the media rather than flowing down. Thanks, Paul K.
