Has anyone ever tried the little shell dwelling cichlids with discus?

Shell Dwelling Cichlids (Neolamprologus multifasciatus) are a good choice if your aquarium is small, since it is one of the smallest cichlid species and is also very docile and non-aggressive.however they will not fare well with Discus because of temperature.Shell Dwelling Cichlids thrive in temperature of 78 - 80° F where as Discus need temperature above 82° F.

I don't know why I thought they would be fine in warmer temperature. I think a few websites had a broader temp range on them. That would of made my daughter really happy.

They also pick up slightest vibrations and can be scared by noises around them or when one is approaching the tank scatter all over which may spook the Discus in my opinion.
