Hello, I had a small (45 gal) discus tank about 6 years ago, then I moved. I haven't had an aquarium since, but I recently bought a 90 gallon tank and am working on getting it setup. I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum, so I figured I'll just join because I'm sure I'll have questions to ask. I can tell there is a ton of knowledge amongst the members here, and want to say thanks for all the information you've already given me.

Welcome Nate! What do you have in mind for that 90?

Right now I've got the tank assembled with pool filter sand in the bottom and 2 ehiem 2215s. I plan on 6-8 discus, a couple rams, and a small school of tetras... and something to eat the algae when it starts growing.
No live plants for now, but I might consider a couple easy plants after all the fish are purchased in there. I live in a rural area and have to drive pretty far for discus, so I will likely order discus online, which I've never done before.
I just have to finish setting up my RO system, so I can get some water in it!
