    Default Universal Rocks Background

Recently I purchased a Universal Rocks Background. This background is excellent quality and is backed with a excellent manufacture. The people at Universal Rocks were great to work with and spent the time to help me with methods to get the background to work for me. The detail on the background and the colors are amazing and looks like it is a real slab of rock. The material is super tough and is able to be heated, bent and cut. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of getting one.

They are a local company and were at the NADA in Austin. They do great work. Congrats on getting the background.

That looks awesome Devon. really really makes the sand pop. I am waiting on approval drawings on a custom acrylic tank right now and I had thought about getting one of these for the background so this will help make my decision. Is yours on the inside or outside?

Trying to decide on the Malawi or the rocky rocks for my new 120. Do you think the outcroping cuts into your tank space? Or a must fit the look?

    Thanks

I would say the thickest section of the background around 2'' +/-. So it doesn't interfere with too much tank space, However the Malawi states its 2'' - 14'' thick at spots. I think this would certainly take up too much real estate in my opinion. Thats why I went for the crevice background it was the thinest but still had lots of depth and detail without sceraficing space.

Ya if you're going to get one get prior to filling the tank much easier to install. I wouldn't hesitate on getting one.
