    Looks nice.

So what are we looking at in that last pic with the background wrapping around wood? Was this your installation process?

Rick the wood is the form I used to heat and screw the background to make the shape permanent, I needed the exact 45 degree bends and I figured best way was to make a wooden copy of the overflow box to be able to screw the background to while it cooled. It worked flawlessly

FYI Joey "king of DIY on youtube" just today posted a video of him installing a universal rocks 3D background on his 375 gallon tank.

I know I commented on his video! I was like hey I just did that! lol Cool coincidence I have to say. I wish I could have just placed mine in the tank in one piece.

Your tank looks amazing!what silicon did you use and did you put it in prior to discus? I purchased the crevice too but my silicon didn't hold, tank was cycling so no fish at the time? I've been looking at how I can put it back in and the best options to do so with 9 discus in the tank? Would love to be able to scape my tank again.

when i installed one of the 3d backgrounds, i just let the sand hold the bottom, and used clips on the top to keep in place, it worked fine.

Thanks Jack, that's something I hadn't thought of and sounds a lot less work than silicon.

I agree. Great product with excellent quality. I got my Universal Rock BG from youfishstuff.com and it was actually 15-20% cheaper than the manufacturers website price. Also bought 2 of the deco rocks and they are also awesome. Just got it in tonight, still have to cut some holes for plumbing but this thing is gonna be amazing. Couldn't get the pic to upload :X

Great info...Thanks! Wasn’t looking forward to using silicone and not being able to remove the background if desired. I’ll try to brace the bottom with a few large rocks in my still empty 75 gallon. I got the background on Amazon.

how do you clean behind background? I have almost the same one, and noticed that when going through the substrate in the corner, a lot of dirt comes from behind the background...
