Do we need an invitation for this gathering? I'd love to attend, bring some sausage for the grill along with a couple of checkerboards of mine to donate to SimplyDiscus if that's OK with Al and all.

Thank you so much, Al. This is exciting, see you all on March 18!
I want to join as well! If I can get the time off at work, I am definitely in, what can I bring?

I'll check with Mary - it would be fund to see everyone again. I don't currently have any discus but I'm still active ( a little ) on the forum. I'll have to check the wrestling schedule - my youngest is a senior at Roger Williams University and an NCAA wrestler - of course missing a wrestling meet is not an option for us.

Hi all,
We are in the home stretch now Just shy of two weeks away..... still on for March 18Th. Lets start the get together at 2 pm. That gives drivers plenty of time to get here. Those that have been here before know how laid back we are about this.. I'd like to get a firm headcount now if we can. Just so I can plan.
WE usually have a presentation of some sort as well.. If someone wants to volunteer, drop me a pm. If not I can come up with something. Is there any interest in a Photography workshop? Also... I have a decent size flat screen in my living room. Would be cool if anyone wants to bring fish, tank, etc pics or vids on a flash drive and we can play them at the meeting.. Up to you.
If you are watching this thread and thinking about joining. Theres no fee, we call our group the NEDA but its just a name. Have a look here..http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...ting-Fall-2010 for an example of what to expect. Sadly I no longer have a fishroom like I did but I am slowly building up. WE do have about 40-50 adult wild and domestic Discus and a tank or two of juvies. scattered through out the house., just starting up pairs again.

My wife and I will be there, along with my 8 month old. And as you know I am intrested in a photo workshop and I will bring my camera along too.
Count me in Al, baring any wild Nor'easter that would make the travel hairy. I am bringing my sister (since my husband has other ideas for his weekend) for road trip company if you don't mind. Looking forward to finally meeting you and the other members.
