Re: Uatuma Red Spotted Green and Madeira Heckels
Very nice. Since you asked about my blues, all I can say is I hope they are ok. I have been in the hospital for the last fourteen days from a nasty little bout with cancer and complications. Start chemo Monday and will be here about another week. Not fun. My buddy is adding water and feeding every other day. I really can't ask him to do much more. Fingers crossed they will be in good shape when I get to see them again. Have fun!

I hope my guys are ok after three weeks of no water changes. I've had them for ten months and they are 5-7". I tried to get my local LFS to take them in, but they never got back to me. Fingers crossed. Good luck with your guys. That is one heck of a project. Nice fish too. Cheers !

All the best William, I don't want to hijack this thread, but I'll be thinking of you and your fish mate.

So far the blues are sorted for now, I'm still debating wether to add Carnegiella strigata or not.
All other discus have to wait until their tank has been built, apparently they started doing that. All the stuff I need to finish everything off is sitting around waiting for the builder to deliver. Once it's here I'm good to go.

Aaaand touchdown for what I told my wife will be the last fish I bought for a while. I will try them in the 325 green setup once ready, if it doesn't work out they'll get their own tank. Another one of my dream fish off the bucket list

How big are those dudes ?

Re: Uatuma Red Spotted Green and Madeira Heckels
Eyeballing guess 20 -25 cm. The most expensive and gorgeous pike, Crenicichla trigrinus. Beauties.

Didn't measure them, but that's my estimate, too. They're zebrina, but tigrina are awesome aswell, would have taken either.

My mistake, i meant zebrina of course.

I'm glad you explained that. Looks like fish guts in a bowl.
