lil planted build for a friend

I did this build on a budget for a friend of mine, just thought I would see if anyone had any advice on future planted builds.

Nice and simple looking discus planted tank LidoVentura .
its the first time i see algae that acctually looks cool on that big bogwood .
Some short pieces of wood or stones right in front of the plants on the left and right side might add to the beauty of the scape .
i would lower the thicknesss of the sandbed in the front to prevent detritus build up in that area since there are no plants there anyway.
You dont need that much in the front since you dont have plants there and it affects watter quallity on the long run .
