    Default Introducing New Discus

    Hello All,

I have maybe a general question and looking for some new opinions. I have the possibility of adopting some new Discus. The person I am getting the Discus from did well by them as that they are huge and healthy, the other party simply wants to get out of the hobby.

I was wondering if introducing the larger fish would the original group of fish fall in line or will the larger fish simply terrorize the smaller ones.

I would quarantine those new fish properly before you do anything.

After that, the fish will establish an order... Just because a fish is smaller doesn't make it less aggressive or personality. A lot more goes into aggression that size.

The fish will work it out. Do not mix the 2 groups or you could be asking for trouble though IMO
