These guys look great and it is wise of you to reduce the numbers. How old are these guys? The fish I have had form wild pairs were early in their third year age wise and generally wild pairs formed in February time frame which is the start of the wet season. Feed them plenty and best of time with these guys.

    Hello Pat,

These were collected in 2015/2016 season and I have them since almost a year now. They were adult size when i got them. So they can be 2-3 years old.

We don't really get a wet season here in KSA ...lol but hopefully i can stimulate that for them. I am keeping the temp High so i can stimulate a drop later on.

Which wilds do you breed Pat?

I did not try to simulate the wet season. The fish seem to know when the wet season starts in the wild but I know wilds keepers do try to help that along with cooler temps and lowering the TDS. I had have both wild green and blues pair up, spawn and have wigglers. I think you best chance for a spawn will happen next year and can't hurt to try this year.
