I 've seen some pearl gourami at the store wondering if they would be compatible with discus???

Understanding after some reasearch .their Asian. Not Amazon,or south American. Is that partly why??

Gourami can be somewhat aggressive,especially at feeding time.And yes they would look rather odd in with discus.Plus cooler water.

They grow quite big , are a very fast swimmers and can be too boisterous for discus, making them skittish .
