    Hi all

    First attempt at breeding discus, see attached photo, seems I've been lucky and found a pair from a group of six I purchased six weeks ago.
    Half the batch of eggs are white and not fertilised, but the rest seem OK.

    Any advice?
    I'm quite an experienced breeder with Apistogramma and one thing I do not enjoy is rearing bbs. Are they essential?
