    Default Ants in the filter!

I set up a 55 gal in my little greenhouse for my planted tank experiment. It's doing well with a pair of GBRams, corys, and a bunch of dither fish. I'm running a fluval 406 on it. I pulled the filter yesterday to clean it. I had it sitting in the sink with the head off, and ants started flowing out of the head! It must be nice and warm, and dry relative to the outside surroundings. At least it's outside!

It must be the season for ant invasions. I just discovered them crawling all over the top of a 90g tank a few days ago. That tank also had a 406 canister - which sprang a leak - and it might have been the moisture that went down through the floor that brought the ants.
