    Default Pheasant Burger

    Always wanted to try this....
Always looking for new way to prepare pheasant...so I did pheasant burger..

    4 lbs pheasant meat'
    1 lb of good bacon'
    4 tables spoons garlic poweder
    1/4 Worchester sauce
    1 apple
    1 onion
    black pepper
couple very good shakes of Tony C's

Ground all the meat, apple and onion through the course plate.
Added the other ingredients and reground through the medium plate.

Pressed into patties with a burger press. Will sit overnight in the fridge and then vac pak and freeze.
Will try a couple tonight for dinner.

Good idea. Good stuff. My super picky 5 year old actually loves smoked dove.

Those burgers look great. I bet they're tasty. Pheasant is an underappreciated food source.

I like dove but man it sure is a lot of work for a couple tiny little morsels. I prefer some good old fashion duck.

I just wish I could find/get pheasant meat in our area.
Last time I saw pheasant, alive, or dead and ready to cook, was when I went pheasant hunting in Saskatchewan many, many moons ago !
I'm sure it makes a tasty burger.
