    Default Awkward pairing

OMG Pairing... Spellcheck +1 vs Casey 0

Soooo as some of you know i've had some awkward pairings happening in my community tank because they're all teenage s*xual deviants. I'll eventually start straightening this out but this is my current dilemma...

I have a cobalt female which the parents were a cobalt male and blue diamond female. This female has now decided she is going to pair with my red turq. They laid eggs, my wife just text me and said there are a few wrigglers in my community tank that they're protecting lol.. I'm not hoping they'll survive, I don't think they'll make it past the next 4 hours of work.

However, here is my real question.

With the BD/Cobalt x Red Turq offspring that is going to produce 100% red turq offspring assuming there is no other genotype mixed in them correct?

Fixed your title if that was your concern. I'll let other weight in on the offspring but I suspect scorpions and turks are the most likely outcome given what you know.

Thank you Pat. I appreciate both the answer and the gesture.

You'll get mostly brilliants, which are incomplete blue diamonds. First spawns never survive, especially in a community tank. If you move them into their own breeding tank, they'll probably spawn again in 14 - 21 days.

    Have fun, Willie

I totally lied. The pair that laid was these two. The red turquoise was just mucking around trying to get some tail.

Well ****, I could have never put that math together!!! Lol thanks Willie.

The male is a cobalt x blue diamond and the female is Cobalt

Which will make, as you stated, brilliant blues/ cobalts
